Janet L. Trapani PT, MDT Janet has over 15 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist. She graduated Daemen College with a B. S. in Physical Therapy in 1984. She has an eclectic diversity of post professional specialization in the Norwegian, Australian, Canadian and New Zealand approaches to physical therapy. She spent a great majority of her professional career specialized in orthopedics, particularly the spine. She is certified in mechanical diagnosis and treatment of the spine by the McKenzie Institute. She has taken a particular interest in the management of orthopedic conditions associated with Osteoporosis, becoming certified through the New York State Osteoporosis Prevention and Education Program (NYSOPEP). Kenneth Rescott PT Ken is a 1988 graduate of the University of Buffalo with a B.S. in Physical Therapy. Over his twenty-one years of clinical practice in outpatient orthopedics and in sub-acute rehabilitation, he has pursued additional clinical knowledge and skills through continuing education. This has consisted in training with the North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) and the McKenzie Institute. He has a particular interest in rehabilitation utilizing pool or aquatic therapy. Ken has been the aquatic therapy director at COAST Physical Therapy, PC for 20 years. Through COAST PT, he serves as the rehabilitation supervisor and consultant for the Cayuga County Community Pool program through the YMCA-YEIU. Ken also sits on the Medical Advisory Committee at the YMCA-YEIU. After work you may find Ken at any number of sporting events watching any of his four children.
